This weekend Nate and I took Aubrey to play at the beach for the first time. I was too paranoid to take her as a newborn last summer. She loved playing in the sand (and of course had to taste test it!) but most of all wanted to take in the sights and sounds. Between watching the seagulls flying around and a little boy throw a football with his dad she was in baby heaven. We took her down by the water but the roar of the waves was too scary! I can't wait for more beach days this summer!
Queen of the Beach - people watchin
Please don't be frightened by my white skin.
That is one cute beach baby! My legs look just like yours, so yours don't frighten me.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking Connor may need to take a trip to the beach this summer to meet that cute beach baby!!
ReplyDeleteI have never packed my camera - I always carry it. I would be way too nervous to let it out of my control. I had a bit of a scare on our last trip...when we got home, I got my camera and second lens out of my bag, and when I picked up the lens, I could hear the sound of glass. My heart sank...I thought I had broken my brand new lens! Thankfully when I opened it up, it was just my filter that broke. Crisis averted! Moral of the story? Make sure you are careful with your carry on! (And try to pack your camera/lenses in some sort of camera bag...I didn't do that this one time!)
Ok...now that I have written a book in your comments, I'll say have SO MUCH FUN in Texas. I'll be jealous! (c:
