Easter Dresses

Our Easter Sunday didn't go exactly as we planned. Aubrey ran into our room excited to see what the Easter bunny brought and when I turned over to look at her, her left eye was almost swollen shut. As I looked at it closer it was clear she had pink eye. The pink eye didn't slow her down at all that day, she acted normal but there was no way we could take her to church. We were all really sad we couldn't be at church on Easter Sunday but thankful we were able to get Aubrey into the doctor and on antibiotics right away. Turns out Aubrey had pink eye and an ear infection!

Since the girls didn't get to wear their Easter dresses on Easter I put them in their dresses this Sunday for church. Thank you Nana for our pretty dresses, we feel like princesses in them!

They love to hold hands and run up & down the front porch....

Talking about hopping down the sidewalk like bunnies while mommy looks away....

The plan worked....

They also picked weeds, I mean "beautiful yellow flowers"...

Then Reagan threw off her shoes and checked her toes....

Then I let the girls color while I downloaded the pictures and this is what I found....

Coloring herself must have been hard work, getting sleepy already...

Why must a mess be made for me to accomplish something?:)
