The Miami Girls

I wanted to share some exciting news about our dear friends Pete and Jess Langley. Pete went to the Naval Academy with Nate and Jess and I met in Pensacola, FL while the guys were in flight school. We have lived in three different states together and they are like family to us!

Okay back to the exciting news.....Jess gave birth to twin girls on Monday Oct 12. Sarah weighed in at 6 lbs 14 oz and Sophia 5 lbs 10 oz. Jess did  a great job caring for the girls in utero and they came into this world healthy and strong! The main reason I wanted to share about the birth of Sarah and Sophia is because their Daddy is deployed right now. Jess and Pete are being strong but as you can imagine it is really hard not being together during this special time. I can't say when Pete will be coming home on the blog but the girls will be a little older, when he does it is going to be one sweet homecoming that's for sure! They are one of many families that sacrifice a lot to serve our country so we can live in the land of the free.  Congrats Langley's we love you guys!
